Now list the duties of the job.
List the duties starting from the most important and working towards
the least important.
Use action words, which say what a person
has to do. Be careful about describing jobs with general
terms like "assists" doing a task or "participates
in" a task. Be clear about what responsibility the person
has in the task. The person needs to know what he or she is
responsible for doing.
Describe how the task should be done. If service should be friendly,
if reports need to be provided on time, make sure you say so.
