Planning
your Post-Secondary Education and Training
Education and training requires a big time, energy
and monetary commitment. So you want to try, as much
as possible, to make the right decisions.
Post-Secondary
Institutions and Programs
If you plan to further your education, you will need
to decide which post-secondary institution you wish
to attend. Saskatchewan offers a wide range of post-secondary
education and training opportunities through its universities,
federated colleges, the Saskatchewan Institute of
Applied Science and Technology (SIAST), regional colleges,
affiliated and associated colleges, Aboriginal-controlled
post-secondary institutions, private vocational schools.
Find them all right here.
Interprovincial Health Training Programs
Saskatchewan has interprovincial agreements with six post-secondary
institutions in other provinces to reserve seats in
specific health discipline programs for students from
our province. Check here for those programs and the
institutions where you can access them.
Learning
Options
There’s more than one way to obtain education
and training. Traditional learning is through a classroom
setting. That setting may not be ideal for everyone.
