Canada-Saskatchewan Career and Employment Services can help you learn what type of work you want to do, and where the jobs are. They can help you improve your skills and employment prospects, as well as, help match the abilities of Saskatchewan's workers with the needs of Saskatchewan's employers. Their programs and services assist people in learning how to:

  • Upgrade their education and find job-related skills that are in demand
  • Find a job
  • Fill a job vacancy

Services
You'll find:
  • Self-help resources like university, technical and regional college calendars, information on training and income support programs, career planning and job search information;
  • Counselling to help assess individual career needs and develop a plan to meet those needs;
  • Computers to provide access to labour market information and employment opportunities;
  • Referrals to training opportunities such as apprenticeship, technical education and basic education.

  • JobStart/Future Skills - work-based training support;
  • Employment programs - Bridging, Community Works and Self-employment;
  • Income support information and applications (Provincial Training Allowance, Student Financial Assistance and Skills Training Benefit).

There are 20 Career and Employment Services offices throughout Saskatchewan. These offices are operated by Saskatchewan Social Services. The services and programs provided by these offices are delivered in partnership with education and skills training institutions and community organizations.
